Ollie’s Adventures Inc. has created this privacy statement for Ollieland.com in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy concerns of our visitors. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website http://www.ollieland.com PostcardsWhen you forward information to someone using any of our email “postcard” systems on this website your name is not added to a mailing list and neither is the name of the person receiving the email. You, as the sender, will not receive an email from us as the result of your use of the postcard system, and the person receiving the postcard will only receive one email to notify them that they have a postcard. Email ListIf you register for our email list, our forms require you to give us contact information like your first name and email address. We use this contact information from these forms to send you information which you have specifically requested about Ollie’s Under the Bed Adventures and Ollieland.com. This information will come to you in the form of a regular newsletter email about once a month. If you do not want to have this email sent to you anymore, you can go at any time to the web page located at www.ollieland.com/privacy where you can remove yourself from the email list. Your email address will then be deleted from the list, and you will receive no more email. When you sign up for our email list, if you are under 13 years old, your parents will receive an email to let them know that you are getting the Ollieland newsletter, and they will be able to take your name off of our mailing list if they wish. ContestsOllieland.com will occasionally run contests in which the winner will receive a prize. If you win a prize, we will ask for your mailing address and phone number so that we can send the prize to you. In that case, we will need to send an email to your parent so that we can get permission to obtain your mailing address and telephone number. To do this, we will ask your parent to fill out a form allowing us to have this information and send it to us by mail or fax. Use of Personal InformationAll personal information you submit to Ollieland.com is treated as strictly confidential, and is used only for the purposes of contacting you in order to send information about Ollieland and Ollie’s Under the Bed Adventures as described above. This information may include notification of contest winners, information on broadcast dates and channels for the Ollie’s Under the Bed Adventures television show, and marketing information on products directly related to Ollie’s Under the Bed Adventures and/or Ollieland.com.
We only ask for as much information as we need to make sure that we can contact you, and we will never ask for your mailing address, full name, or telephone number, except in situations where you have won a contest or are purchasing an item, and we need this information in order to send something to you by mail. In the case that you win a contest, we may post on our web page your first name and your town and province or state in order to let people know that there is a winner.
